Imagine What Heaven Looks Like
On my recent trip, I was fortunate enough to see some of the prettiest scenery this country has to offer. One night while I was sitting outside in Sun Valley I noticed the sky. It was filled with stars.
Coming from a city, I never really got to see that many stars. I forgot what a beautiful evening sky could look like.
As I gazed at this amazing star-filled sky I thought: "If heaven looks this pretty from the wrong side, imagine what it must look like from the right side."
No matter how long it takes me to get back to the country to see the sky, I will always see the night sky a little different now. I guess it is all a matter of perspective.
I also noticed the moon that night. It was bright and prominent in the sky. I thought it was an amazing sight as well.
Then I realized the moon was simple a reflection of the sun's light. By itself, it is dark and cold, but with the sun it becomes alive- bright and welcoming. I couldn't help but feel that it is similar to us. Without love we are dark and cold, but with love from others we become a full moon- warm and welcoming.
Take some time, no matter where you live and see nature, see the beautiful creation we have to enjoy and simply breathe it all in. Nature- yet another reason to be grateful!
